POSITION SUMMARY

Selected individual will function as a licensed Physical Therapist, carry a full outpatient load, maintains established departmental policies and procedures, and assist with the supervision of PTA's and aides.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Individual must be a graduate of an APTA approved college PT program.

Experience: Moderate experience in an acute hospital setting either by internship or by work experience. Must be willing to work on a weekend rotation.

Knowledge and Skills: Must be available for 2 full weekends per month or 1 full weekend plus 4 or more weekdays per month.

License and Certifications: Valid PT license in California. Valid AHA BCLS certification for Adult and Pediatrics.

Equipment: Computer; Physical Therapy equipment.

Physical Requirements: Able to perform the essential physical duties as noted on the job description.
