Responsible for ensuring the safety of patients, employees, and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assets and premises.
Education: Minimum of a High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Three years in law enforcement and/or security in a hospital setting.
Knowledge and Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Have good decision-making skills.
License and Certifications: Valid California Guard Card, California Drivers License, CPR (must be obtained within one month of hire date), CPI (must be obtained within three months of hire date). I.A.H.S.S. certificate preferred, not required. Good driving record.
Equipment: Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements: Able to perform the essential physical duties of the position as defined in job description.
