Immediate family members and significant others are able to visit anytime during the day or night; however, visitation is not available during staff changes, from 6:30 to 8:30 am or 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Two visitors are allowed in a patient's room at any time.
At vaginal delivery, the father and one other person designated by the mother may be present. Children under the age of 14 years may be present at the discretion of the physician and must be accompanied by an adult other than the support person. If other family members are present, they may visit new parents after delivery.
Visitors are welcome during regular hospital visiting hours from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Siblings of the newborn may visit as long as they are illness-free. Visitors are not allowed during "quiet time," between 2 pm and 4 pm, when parents, and baby enjoy quiet time together.
Visiting is permitted, except during shift change from 6:30 am to 7:30 am and 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Only parents, grandparents, or healthy siblings over the age of 3 may visit and a parent must accompany siblings.
Parents may visit at any time. Healthy siblings may visit pediatric patients during regular visiting hours, but they must be accompanied by a parent at all times during their visit.
Special circumstances may indicate the need to make an exception to our visiting policy. A request can be made to the patient's nurse.
