Prepared Childbirth (LaMaze) Class
Learn basic breathing and relaxation techniques and what to expect when you are in labor. Refresher classes are also available.

Breastfeeding Class
This class is offered by a certified lactation educator to provide encouragement and instruction in the methods of breastfeeding. You attend the class before your baby is born.
In addition, our breastfeeding experts are available to assist you while you are hospitalized. We also offer a walk-in breastfeeding clinic to provide assistance and support to breastfeeding mothers.

Infant Care Class
This class is designed to educate parents on the characteristics of the new baby. Physical care such as bathing, diapering, umbilical cord and circumcision care are covered.

Mom's Group at Healthy Beginnings
For moms and their babies ages newborn to six months, this five-week course is designed to support new moms on their journey into parenting. Topics include maternal development (mom’s first year), baby’s milestones, cues and cries, baby’s personality, traits of a healthy family, and child safety.

Positive Parenting at Healthy Beginnings
For families with children ages newborn to six years of age, this class is designed to help parents raise well-mannered, confident, and respectful children by creating good habits. Discipline strategies for common behavior issues will also be given.
Healthy Heart Class
This class series covers cardiac risk factors, congestive heart failure, education, and how to stay healthy through blood pressure management, stress management, and exercise.

Heartsaver CPR
Designed for new and renewing CPR students, this class reviews CPR procedures as well as other basic first aid situations, pediatric emergencies, and the 911 system.

This class is designed for the newly-diagnosed patient. Class will cover meter usage, diabetic care, nutrition, and meal planning.

Family & Friends CPR Class, Infants/Child
Participants will learn how to perform CPR and manage a choking infant or child.

Safe Sitter
Designed for 11 to 13 year olds, Safe Sitter is a medically accurate babysitting preparation program that teaches students rescue skills, basic first aid, nurturing, safe child care, and personal safety.

Heartsaver CPR & First Aid Combo Class

Look Good Feel Better
The American Cancer Society, in partnership with the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association, will focus on personal appearance for women undergoing cancer treatment. A free make-up kit is provided. This class will focus on all the ways you can look good and feel your best during your cancer journey – wigs, hats, scarves, make-up, clothing, skin and nail changes, nutrition, exercise, coping tips, etc.

Nutritional Support for Cancer Patients
