The purpose of joining a group is to provide the mechanism for fostering emotional support, building positive attitudes, enhancing the ability to deal and cope with health issues in a constructive way, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. Parent Talk
| Parent Talk is an informal discussion/support group for families of children and young adults with special needs. This program is available to the public, as well as children born at San Antonio Community Hospital. Please come and share your concerns, problem solving strategies, and joys associated with raising your special child. | |

Diabetes Support Group
| This support group is for patients and their families and provides a comfortable environment to learn how to manage diabetes through diet and medication. This support group is presented in English and in Spanish. | |
