Problems and Diagnosis
Convert - The action of taking an existing problem and adding it to the diagnosis list.
Diagnosis - Is a current medical diagnosis that has been applied to a patient during a specific encounter.
Favorites Folder - A convenient feature that speeds up the diagnosis process by having common diagnoses at the users’ fingertips. This feature is managed by, and is unique to, each user.
Medline Search - Using a link provided within the Problem and Diagnosis window to search for information on a selected diagnosis or problem.
Problem - An ongoing (chronic) medical issue that continues to affect a patient and his/her care. A problem will follow a patient from one encounter to the next.
