Education

Education is power and new technology is key. They are the difference between good nurses and great nurses. At San Antonio Community Hospital (SACH), we empower you to be a great nurse every day and at every step in your career.

Providing a support system that fosters an environment of clinical excellence, SACH’s nurse managers and educators provide the educational link between nurses, physicians, patients, and patient families. We provide:

  • As many as two managers or educators for each nursing specialty
  • Numerous higher educational offerings, such as an on-site RN-to-BSN program
  • College loan forgiveness
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • In-house continuing education, certification, and re-certification classes for free
  • Skills lab featuring a mock-patient room for practicing clinical skills
  • One-on-one training

Ongoing learning and education is more than knowledge at SACH. It’s our way of nursing. It’s our way of life.
