A variety of pediatric services are available for children from newborns to 15 year-old adolescents. Specialized care and treatment are provided to children who are hospitalized on our Pediatric Unit, as well as those who visit the hospital on an “outpatient” basis for diagnostic, therapeutic, and same-day surgery services.

The Pediatric Unit provides clinical care and treatment for both medical and surgical conditions. Our specially-trained pediatric nurses are dedicated to children and to providing care that is tailored to the age and developmental level of each child. We have adopted a family-focused approach to pediatric care that encourages parents’ participation in the care leading to their child’s return to health. All children and their families are provided with individualized care, support, and health education to speed recovery and ease the transition from hospital to home. Our visiting policies take into consideration the needs of our young patients and their families, and our staff can assist you with any special requirements.
