The Managed Care Department negotiates and monitors the performance of all contracts between the Hospital and insurance companies, including health maintenance organizations (HMO), preferred provider organizations (PPO), and point-of-service (POS) programs. The Department acts as a liaison between the Hospital, insurance companies, insurance brokers, employers, and community members.
