Cardiac Rehabilitation Department
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Department offers patients a comprehensive
program of evaluation, education, counseling, and carefully measured
and graded levels of physical activity. These services assist in restoring
maximum physical function following a heart attack or other cardiac
ailment. A skilled cardiologist supervises the department. Nursing care
is provided by highly qualified registered nurses and exercise specialists
who are present at all times, and who have received training in exercise
physiology, cardiology, nutrition, and body mechanics. Your physician
will determine if you are a candidate for this service.
Our goal is to return patients to their optimum quality of life through
a carefully planned program. Exercise plans, education, and reduction
of risk factors are key components of the program. You may contact the
Cardiac Rehabilitation Department weekdays, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.,
at (909) 920-6225.
