Caring Hearts Support Group
The Caring Hearts Program is a volunteer community organization. Members
include heart patients who have had open heart surgery or any other
cardiac event, and may also include spouses or other interested persons.
The program consists of a Cardiac Support Group that meets at the Hospital
on the third Thursday of each month, and a Caring Hearts Visitation
Program. The purpose of the group is to provide the mechanism for fostering
emotional support, building positive attitudes, enhancing the person's
ability to deal with heart disease in a constructive way, and the promotion
of healthy lifestyles. Click
